Listing your property with bilbi is simple:

Choose which part of your property you want to list. From the whole house, to a private room, or even a swag out the back amongst the trees - it can all be listed with bilbi and there’s a guest out there ready to make it their home away from home.

You can choose to list an entire property, individual rooms within the property, or both! Here’s how it works:

Entire property: list a whole house, treehouse or cabin etc. with one calendar, keeping it easy to stay on top of your property’s availability.

Individual rooms: list individual rooms of your property separately. This will allow them to be booked by different groups of people and each room will have it’s own calendar.

Both: open the option for guests to book an individual room or your whole house! This feature helps you maximise your property’s booking potential, plus all calendars will sync so you don’t need to worry about a double booking.

How can I host with BeitiBeitak?+

Firstly, welcome! We have made listing your property simple:

  1. Choose which part of your property you want to list. From the whole house, to a private room, or even tent in a far away land - it can all be listed with BeitiBeitak and there’s a guest out there ready to make it their home away from home. You can choose to list an entire property, individual rooms within the property, or both! Here’s how it works:

    • Entire property: list a whole house, treehouse or cabin etc. with one calendar, keeping it easy to stay on top of your property’s availability.
    • Individual rooms: list individual rooms of your property separately. This will allow them to be booked by different groups of people and each room will have it’s own calendar.
    • Both: open the option for guests to book an individual room or your whole house! This feature helps you maximise your property’s booking potential, plus all calendars will sync so you don’t need to worry about a double booking.
  2. Set your own rules. How much you want to charge, when the property is available, and what guests can and can’t do while staying. It’s your home and you make the rules, BeitiBeitak is simply here to help.
  3. List your property. Once you have completed your listing with details about your space and plenty of photos for your potential guests to view, it’s time to publish. Don’t forget, so people know whose home they’ll be staying in, you’ll also need to complete your host profile before publishing.

How will I know when a guest has booked my property?+

When your listed property with Beitbeitak is published, it will become available for travellers to view immediately. Once a traveller has decided your property is right for them, you’ll receive a notification asking for you to accept the booking request or simply informing you that a booking was made if you chose to enable instant booking. Your new guest will be prompted for payment details and with only a few clicks they will be booked in. Once the booking is confirmed, you can communicate with your guests at any time through your Beitbieitak inbox.

Once a booking is made, Beitbeitak’s automated booking system will update your property’s availability for you across any and all calendars synced to that listing.

How can I make sure that my house is safe and secure when guests are over? +

The beauty of BeitiBeitak is that all hosts and guests become a part of our ecosystem when transparency is key. You get to view your guests profiles before agreeing to let them into your home, making sure that you are comfortable with who is staying over. You are also in control of your house rules and we recommend you outline clearly what is and isn’t acceptable in your home.

We also encourage hosts to take safety and security precautions before welcoming guests including (but not limited to):

  • Removing all valuables and personal identification items from the property including photos.
  • Securing items that cannot be removed
  • Considering appropriate property insurance for your needs
  • Making sure safety devices such as smoke alarms are in working order

How will I know if my guests are enjoying my property?+

At the end of each stay, guests will be invited to leave a review of your property and you as a host. They will be asked questions regarding the cleanliness of the property, whether the listing fairly represented the property, and other details that made their stay feel like home. Reviews of your property will be published within your listing so travellers can read about others’ experiences.

Can I provide a review for my guest once they leave? +

Just as the guest is asked to review your property, you will be asked to review the guest. This provides other hosts with the information and confidence needed to feel comfortable welcoming guests into their own properties. For fairness, neither you nor the guest will be able to see each other's review until both are completed and published by BeitiBeitak. If one of you chooses not to leave a review for the other, the option to review will be considered forfeited and the review that was completed will be published after 10 days.

What happens if I need to cancel a booking made by a guest?+

We understand that surprises can pop up sometimes and interrupt your plans but to support the BeitiBeitak ecosystem we encourage hosts to only cancel confirmed reservations when absolutely urgent. In the case of a host-cancellation, the following will apply:

  • If cancelled by you more than 7 days before guest check-in, we will deduct USD40 from your next payout (the payment received from your following guest booking);
  • If cancelled by you within 7 days of guest check-in, we will deduct USD80 from your next payout (the payment received from your following guest booking).
  • If the guest shows up to check-in and was unable to due to lack of communication from your end a no show fee of USD100 will be deducted from your next payout (the payment received from your following guest booking).

For more information, please refer to our Host Cancellation Policy.

How can I make sure my property remains COVID-19 safe?+

We encourage all hosts to adhere to strict hygiene measures at all times and especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. When listing, you can specify which hygiene measures you are committed to taking to provide a safe and healthy environment for your guests. This information will be displayed for potential guests to see while checking out your property details..

Hosts and guests are required to follow the guidelines and parameters set by local authorities to avoid transmission of communicable infections such as COVID-19.

What is a work-friendly stay?+

We have been living through unprecedented times, and along with that comes the rise of remote working (people working away from their home and office). If your property has high-speed internet, a suitable desk and chair, and power adaptor, then it classifies as “work-friendly”. By marking your property as work-friendly you may attract guests looking to change their scenery while working from “home”.

How do I get paid?+

Select payment country

I already have my property listed on another platform, can I still list on BeitiBeitak?+

You can definitely list your home on BeitiBeitak while it’s listed on other platforms and easily sync your calendars to avoid double booking.

Is there anything else I need to consider?+

For the safety and security of you and your future guests, it is important that you only communicate with one another through BeitiBeitak. We’d like to emphasise the importance of managing all your hosting business through the BeitiBeitak platform to avoid any potential fraud or other issues.

We are here to help you make the most of your experience with BeitiBeitak but are unable to assist in any way if communication has been made outside of the platform.

How does the booking system work?+

When you publish your property with BeitiBeitak it will be available to view by visitors who can then check your availability and book with a few clicks. Our booking system is automated meaning as soon as you receive a booking from a BeitiBeitak guest your home’s availability will be updated. Your guests will then be asked to make payment and you’ll be notified by either SMS or email that there is a new booking before you give them your exact details such as your address. You can message your guests through BeitiBeitak at any time if you have any questions. Our booking system is still underway and we appreciate your patience as we get ready to invite guests to make bookings.

What does mirror listing mean?+

You can use the mirror listing feature when you have multiple rooms or spaces that you’d like to list separately.

By clicking mirror listing you create another one that is exactly the same as your original listing and can then make changes to the amenities, photos and other details.

What if someone messages me asking for my contact details to communicate outside the platform?+

We strongly encourage all our users to keep all communication within the platform. It is the only way for us to protect you from fraud and investigate an issue if one is to come up. You are encouraged to report a user who invites you to communicate outside the platform, which will help us protect the ecosystem and make sure all users are trusted.

Any tips for being a good host? +

It is entirely up to you how much or how little you want to offer as a host. All travellers are after something different when they’re on the road and all varieties of hospitality are appreciated. Our number one tip though? Let your space reflect you and what you love about the area you live in. From small touches to large gestures, BeitiBeitak is all about making others feel at home. Your visitors can review your home once they’ve left so make sure to read what they have to say.
